Hello, my name is Lauren Greehy. I am a PhD graduate from the University of Manchester where I researched the olfactory relationships that individuals develop over their lifetime.

I have done this by deploying sensory, embodied and arts-based methods to document, through the experience of those perceiving smells, the complex and intersecting qualities of olfactory relationships.

After graduating in 2021, I desired a change of pace. I made the move to the commercial, fast-paced world of Market Research - and have been lingering there ever since.

This website is a personal account of my thoughts, encountered olfactory stories and developments in multimodal qualitative methods that allow us to further explore the significance of ephemeral moments with stuff we encounter in our day-to-day lives.
